Learn how to contacts are created in charles and how to navigate the All Contacts page.


Introduction

There are 3 ways that a contact is created in charles:

  1. They text you first
  2. They leave their number in charles sign-up form
  3. They have their number stored in your connected shop system or other integrations (and you choose to create contacts for them)

Contacts table

  1. Search for individual contacts by name, email and phone number
  2. Filter your contacts by;
    1. Individual opt-in and outs
    2. Tags
    3. Channel
    4. Last conversation date
    5. Order count
  3. Select multiple contacts (by single-select or all) to choose a bulk action via the three-dot menu including;
    1. Delete
    2. Add tags
    3. Delete tags
    4. Add to list
    5. Export data
