First things first
Before we can start the actual onboarding process, make sure you complete the following steps:
- Get a new phone number that you want to use for WhatsApp and have it ready for integration. The number should be connected to a phone to receive an SMS or phone call.
- If you are using WhatsApp Business and want to keep the same number for charles, you must delete the WhatsApp account. You can find instructions on how to do this here.
- If you are already using WhatsApp API, let us know in advance. Someone from our Tech Team will migrate the number.
- Complete your Facebook Business Verification before the Kick-off call. You can find instructions on how to do this here. Note that this is not the same as Facebook Page Verification.
- Make sure your Facebook Business Owner and Shop System Admin are invited to the kick-off call.
Once everything is ready, you can schedule a kick-off meeting with your client success manager.
Onboarding at charles is divided into two major parts:
- Kick-off meeting
- Introductions: Letβs have a conversation π
- Discussion of your specific use case
- Deciding on check-ins
- Agreeing on priorities to work towards long-term goals
- Technical set-up (WhatsApp and shop system integration)
Note: This meeting marks the official start of the contract and billing period.
