The Send update node lets you send update template message.

Similar to the Send message node, they can be sent outside the 24hr window and can use CTA buttons (which let you track customer actions with the help of UTM parameters).

There are 2 ways to configure an update template in Journeys:

Creating an update from scratch

  1. From the canvas, select Send update

  2. Select Create Template:

  3. When creating an update template, you can add the following elements:

  1. Once you’ve created the template, send it to WhatsApp for approval by clicking Send:
