1. Create an opt-in tag

👣 We have just migrated opt-ins to our Journey builder (flows). The creation of the “opt-in tag” is still located within the “old” system. This setup is not perfect and requires some extra work. We apologize and are working on improving the process!

To get your customers’ consent, you first have to create an Message Opt-in in your charles Universe. Then you can send opt-in requests in flows, or automatically/manually to your contacts in chat. ****Basically think of it as a tag that you first have to create…

Step 1 - navigate to Message Opt-ins tab and add new opt-in:

Step 2 - fill in placeholder trigger:

Step 3 - leave next two steps blank: (You will build these messages into flows later)

Step 4 - Set opt-out trigger + message:

⚠ This is still important! Choose an easy trigger and mentioned it in your campaigns, so people can always opt-out
