We know, there is nothing more upsetting than a user who wants to sign up, but runs into technical problems.

Unfortunately, Meta/WhatsApp is not always perfect…

  1. For a small percentage of sendouts, users receive an error instead of the intended message
  2. Additionally, buttons may be missing in a very low amount of cases

Addressing message display errors in sign-up flows

Problem: users may not see your opt-in request message, after sending their first message —> they cannot sign up

Workaround solution: automatically send the opt-in request message again, if users have not answered to the initial one

Steps to set up a fallback message:

1. Duplicate original opt-in requested message
2. Turn on “Follow up if the customer has not responded” option in setting menu
3. Connect the duplicated new message to the follow-up option
4. Connect the reply buttons of the duplicate message to the original flow
