Custom properties allow users to create fields that collect and store information that meet your needs. With custom properties, not only can you create, organize, and search for data more efficiently, you can also import data from different platforms into charles. For example, by integrating data from CRM (i.e. Pipedrive) into our system, you can improve your workflow significantly by managing all information in one centralized place in real time.
So far, you can create custom properties for the contact information, all the properties you created will show up under the "Additional information" section in the contact widget. You will be able to create custom fields for deal, product and order sections in the near future.

What types of custom input fields does Charles offer?
To begin, please go to "Settings", then you will find the section called "Custom Properties" in the page.
To create a new custom property, first of all, you need to decide where you want to add the new field. Currently, you can only create custom properties in "contact", which would display the field in the contact widget in conversation view and/or contact table. After that, please click the highlighted button above "+ Add new property'.
