Get started sending WhatsApp campaigns.

Here’s everything you need to know to build your first campaign 👀

How-to

  1. Go to Campaigns > Create campaign

  2. Name campaign

  3. Optional: Add a discount code to “Track revenue using discount code” to track the campaigns generated revenue (we can also track revenue using UTM links. See ‣)

  4. Build your message template. See Message template formats for the different types of messages and elements that you can use.

  5. Submit the template to WhatsApp for approval

  6. Create your audience by using an existing Segments & lists or from scratch. Check out our Segmentation guide for inspiration

  7. Review the contact count

  8. Test the campaign by sending it to yourself

    <aside> 💡 Remember: You’ll need to wait about 10 minutes for your message template to be approved by WhatsApp before testing and publishing will work.

  9. Select Publish options. Here you can either schedule the campaign or send it straight away. See Sending a campaign for more info
